This is a poured epoxy gemstone, done in three parts - the bottom layer, a clear layer with the octopus miniature, then another clear layer on top.
It measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) across, and 2 inches (5.08 cm) high and weighs 3.5 ounces
This was the first time I used the gemstone mold, and was something of an experiment to see if the miniature would look right in the main facet of the gemstone.
A wonderful gift for anyone that loves marine life or octopi, this piece can be displayed on the included stand, or laid on its side on a shelf or desk for one's own enjoyment!
